What is the Privilege Loyalty program?

The Europcar Privilege loyalty program is a free of charge program designed to enable enrolled customers to receive rewards for their repeat business with Europcar when they rent in any of the participating locations. The Privilege Program offers the Members three (3) status levels based on the number of rentals or rental days with Europcar over a twelve (12) months period. Program status levels are Privilege Club, Privilege Executive, and Privilege Elite. The Member’s status changes when he or she satisfies the conditions for obtaining another level, as described below. The new status is valid for a period of 12 months (365 days). The Member’s current status is renewed if, at the end of this 12 month period, the Member still satisfies the conditions for said status. If the Member no longer satisfies the conditions for the current status level over the following 12 month period, then he or she receives the status level that corresponds to his or her activity at the end of the said period. The Member’s new Card is sent immediately, free of charge, corresponding to the new status level. Europcar ID sign-on or quote at time of booking is mandatory to benefit from the Privilege Program advantages and tier level system. To obtain a Privilege Card, the Customer must: - Update or create his/her Europcar ID online via the “My Europcar” section and Submit or Confirm his/her enrolment, - Own a major credit card accepted by Europcar and enter the details of such credit card details in the My Europcar section OR be granted a Company charge option, both as described in the section 2 of our General Rental Terms - Provide an individual and valid e-mail address at time of sign up On receipt of the subscription confirmation, Europcar will send a confirmation email to the email address entered by the customer in the “My Europcar” form which in turn implies the final acceptance of the offer by the Customer

What is the purpose of the Europcar PRIVILEGE Loyalty Program?

The purpose of the Europcar PRIVILEGE loyalty program offered by Europcar, is to enable members who have enrolled to the Program to be rewarded for their vehicle rentals via PRIVILEGE Credits with associated advantages.

What are the benefits offered to PRIVILEGE members?

Each level rewards its Members with specific advantages and benefits.

For PRIVILEGE CLUB Members:
After the first rental, the enrolled customer becomes a Privilege Club Member and starts earning credits towards Privilege Executive.
Privilege Club benefits:
- Privilege express service: No queue, no paperwork, show your driving licence and go
- Benefit from a dedicated line at the counter
- Get a 10% discount on Europcar International leisure rates (Super Drive)
- Your reservation is guaranteed: the Europcar pick up station is required to provide the requested vehicle category until the station closure or up to 12:00 (noon) the day following the due pick up time for 24/7 stations.
- Access your PRIVILEGE profile information 24/7 on My Europcar section online.
- Benefit from special rates at Accor hotels and access to Accor’s A|Club Silver card
- Earn miles/points from your preferred Frequent Traveller Program

For PRIVILEGE EXECUTIVE Members:
Members qualify for this level after 10 rentals or 40 rental days during the previous 12 months period.
Privilege Executive benefits:
1. Privilege express service: No queue, no paperwork, show your driving licence and go
2. Benefit from a dedicated line at the counter
3. 20% discount on all leisure rates (Super Drive)
4. guaranteed car availability
5. special rates at Accor hotels and access to A|Club Gold card

For PRIVILEGE ELITE Members: Members qualify for this level after 25 rentals or 85 rental days during the previous 12 months period.

o Benefit from a dedicated line at the counter
o 30% discount on all leisure rates (Super Drive)
o guaranteed car availability
o special rates at Accor hotels and access to A|Club Gold card with free breakfast and 200 bonus points on first stay

o additional driver option for free

How can I enroll in the Europcar Privilege Program?

Customers can join the PRIVILEGE Program by enrolling online, thereby updating/completing the application form in the My Europcar section of http://www.europcar.com/ or of any of the following Europcar websites:

After submitting the form, the Member will receive an application confirmation e-mail, sent to the email address indicated on the form, indicating the Europcar Driver ID. This Europcar ID (or Member number) entitles the Member to benefit from all Program services immediately and must be used to login for each online reservation or quoted when booking on the phone to benefit from the Program advantages.

I have an old Europcar card which is still displayed on My Europcar account but would like to enroll in the new Privilege program, how should I proceed?

Your old card needs to be cancelled by one of our data centres as this process cannot be done online: please contact us using the Europcar Loyalty Programs subject with this text or equivalent in the Message section:
"Request to enroll in new Privilege: please cancel old Europcar card" in the message.

What are the different status levels?

The PRIVILEGE Program offers Members three (3) status levels based upon the number of Vehicle rentals with, or the number of days Member rents a Vehicle from, a Europcar participating stations over a twelve (12) month period. Program status levels are:
o PRIVILEGE Club (entry level);
o PRIVILEGE Executive (frequent renter level);
o PRIVILEGE Elite (top frequent renter level).

A PRIVILEGE Executive member qualifies to the Executive level if he/she rents from ten (10) to twenty four (24) times or from forty (40) to eighty four (84) rented days.

What is Privilege Elite?

This is the name of the top level in the Program. A Member qualifies for this level and is entitled to the services and benefits attached to this level if he has earned enough credits during one calendar year. A PRIVILEGE Member qualifies to the Elite level when he/she makes more than twenty five (25) eligible rentals or more than eight five (85) rented days.

How are the different Privilege status levels reached?

A Member switches from one level to another in function of his/her Vehicle rental services consumption (number of rentals or number of rented days).
At enrolment time, the Member is automatically enrolled into the PRIVILEGE Club level which becomes active after first rental.
The Member's status changes automatically when he or she satisfies the conditions for reaching another level.
Any new status reached is valid for a period of twelve (12) months (three hundred and sixty five (365) days) during a calendar year: January 1 - December 31.

How will I get upgraded / downgraded from a level to another?

Level Downgrades
On 31 December of each year, the level in the Program to which a Member is to be entitled the next year will be determined by the number of PRIVILEGE Credits accumulated from 1 January until 31 December of that same year:
• If a Member has earned no PRIVILEGE Credits during the relevant year, the Member will be downgraded to one level lower;
• If a Member has earned PRIVILEGE Credits during the year, but not enough to maintain his current membership level as per the rules defined in Chapter -1 hereby, the Member will be downgraded to one level lower. As an example, a PRIVILEGE Elite member will be downgraded to a PRIVILEGE Executive level, and a PRIVILEGE Executive member will be downgraded to a PRIVILEGE Club level.
Level Upgrades As soon as a Member earns enough PRIVILEGE Credit to be upgraded, the upgrade will be implemented with immediate effect. This means that a new Card reflecting the new status of the said Member will be automatically sent to the Member. As an example, a PRIVILEGE Club member will be upgraded to a PRIVILEGE Executive level, and a PRIVILEGE Executive member will be upgraded to a PRIVILEGE Elite level.

How do I get my Privilege card?

The PRIVILEGE Card is sent by post to the Member following his or her first rental made at a participating Europcar location.

What if my Privilege Card is lost, damaged or stolen?

If the Card is lost, damaged or stolen, you should contact the Data Administrator of your country of residence by phone or email: contact information available online in the About us section and in the Loyalty Information section of My Europcar once logged-in. Upon receipt of the Member’s notification of a lost, stolen or damaged Card, the Card will be replaced.

Which Europcar locations propose the Program?

All Europcar stations worldwide propose and deliver the PRIVILEGE benefits & advantages.
Exception: In the USA and Canada, Europcar Privilege credits & benefits will be granted after a first rental in one of our partner National Car rental locations, namely on second rental in a USA/Canada location.

Which rentals are eligible Privilege rentals?

Eligible rentals are rentals based on eligible rates including all public, corporate and promotional rates with the exception of some specific rates such as car replacement rates, airline fly and rive rates, Tour operator rates and miles/points redemption rentals. What is the Privilege Master Rental agreement service?

The Master Rental Agreement service is the Privilege express service to bypass the lines a the counter and obtain the vehicle keys without signing the pre-printed rental agreement. The Customer will collect the keys from a Europcar agent on presentation of a valid driving license.

How do I earn PRIVILEGE Credits?

You can earn PRIVILEGE credits as follows:
• for each eligible rental
• for each eligible rental day
• for specific promotions
When a Member rents a Vehicle at a participating Europcar location via an eligible rate, the Member's account is credited with an additional PRIVILEGE credit (rentals and/or days according to what is the most profitable for the member).

Where can I send a query if I miss Privilege credits?

If PRIVILEGE credits have not been properly credited to your account after a minimum waiting period of six weeks following the invoicing of a PRIVILEGE eligible rental, you should complete all mandatory fields of the Privilege online query form in the Query section of My Europcar, i.e. Reservation OR Rental Agreement number, Pick-up date and station, Return station.

Can I earn Frequent Traveller miles with my Europcar rental ?

If you are a member of a frequent flyer programme, and Europcar is a partner of this programme, all your qualifying Europcar rentals earn miles according to a pre-defined miles grid. To make sure your Frequent Flyer Miles are credited, please provide your Frequent Flyer details on the booking page of your online reservation and present your membership card at time of rental. Please review our Partners section to see how many miles or points can be earned for each of our partners, what is considered as a qualifying rental, and obtain any other information. Please note that the same main driver cannot earn miles for more than one rental at any time. Only one rental can be recorded.

Can I receive Frequent Traveller miles or points on Previous Rentals ?

To receive mileage credit for rentals which took place within the last 6 months*, please send a proof of your travel (ex. Boarding pass, hotel reservation, train ticket…) and rental record to Europcar International, Partnerships FFP reclamation team IRDC, 3 avenue du Centre, 78881 St Quentin en Yvelines Cedex, FRANCE or Airlines@mail.europcar.com.
